GlassCraft FiberCraft Entry Doors have been evaluated for Energy Star compliance and certified by the National Fenestration Council (NFRC) and the National Accreditation and Management Institute (NAMI).
Look for the U-Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) when making a buying decision. The U-Factor measures the rate of heat transfer and tells you how well the window insulates. The lower the U-Factor, the better the insulation. The Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) tells you how well the product blocks heat caused by sunlight. The lower the SHGC, the less solar heat the door transmits.
